Synopsis

Tomb Raider is based on the hugely popular video game of the same name. Seven years after the mysterious disappearance of her father, Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander), is hunting for ancient crypts and artifacts. Something inspires her to begin the search for her father or at least find out what happened to him. Unaware of what awaits her on the journey she is about to begin, Croft sets sail for an island near Japan where reportedly, her father was last spotted. Will she survive the adventure and get the answers she needs or will she disappear too, just like her father?
