Synopsis

Pantham translated as “challenge” is an intense action- romance carrying a strong message about the political scenario in the current times. The plot is full of powerful dialogues and intense action sequences shot in an aluminum factory. The film stars Gopichand in the lead role of a braveheart who wouldn’t back up unless he succeeds in his mission to uplift the poor. In the process, he also attacks the corrupt system. Though dealing with serious subjects, the film has plenty of fun elements like comic tracks and fun-filled love songs. Mehreen Kaur Pirzada appears in the role of a school teacher and is instrumental in the iconic court scenes filmed for the movie. Pantham marks the directorial debut of screenwriter K. Chakravarthy.
