Synopsis

Inspired by true events, Kayamkulam Kochunni is a historical film starring Nivin Pauly in the titular role. The movie is centered on a highway robber who plundered the rich to help the poor in 19th century Travancore. Touted as the most expensive Malayalam film to be made till date, Kayamkulam Kochunni paints a fair picture of Kerala as it was 150 years ago.
