Synopsis

This social drama is an official remake of the 1980s cult classic of the same name. The story is centered on Albert Pinto- an educated youth from a middle class family- who sets out on an unplanned road trip from Mumbai to Goa. Angry and frustrated with the injustice and inequality existing in the country, Albert Pinto narrates his story to a driver. While his family and friends worry about his whereabouts, Pinto continues his journey with the hope to find peace. The film is a thought-provoking take on hypocrisy, class division and cultural breakdown of humanity in the modern world.
