Andy Serkis is an English actor and director who is critically acclaimed for his work in motion capture. Winner of several awards and nominations, Serkis is applauded for lending his voice to major characters in films like The Lord of the Rings trilogy and its spin-offs, several Star Wars films, King Kong and Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin. He is also greatly celebrated for his work in British TV, the most significant one being the portrayal of the serial killer Ian Brady in the drama Longford.
